For the past 3 weeks our team of specialists at EZIA Human Performance have been working with skateboard legend Bob Burnquist to get him prepared for his hectic summer schedule.   In the month of July alone Bob will be heading to his native country of Brazil to compete in Nescau MegaRampa Invitational and then back to LA seeking more medals in both Big Air and Vert at X Games 17.  The goal of our team is to have Bob healthy and peaked for his upcoming contest season.  Physical therapists Joe Walker and Shane Carpenter along with Sports Chiropractor Dr. Mike Wasilisin have been treating Bob for both past and current injuries and his progress has been nothing short of phenomenal.  Coinciding with the treatment plan performance coach and board-sport specialist Ryan Gallop has been working with Bob to rehab a recent ankle sprain and improve his overall performance by utilizing cutting edge balance/proprioception techniques combined with functional strength and power exercises.   With our team’s continued efforts and Bob’s amazing dedication and work ethic we have no doubts that the summer of 2011 will be a successful one.
